About the Role:

The Director, People Insights will establish and execute our overall strategy for talent analytics. This includes practices, tools, and technology to provide actionable information and insights about our people to drive a rewarding employee experience and business success based on data analysis

Partner closely with People Leadership, Centers of Excellence, People Technology teams, and business leaders to build and maintain insights. Analyze People data, offer actionable analysis, and interface directly with the broader People Organization to empower them to meet their business objectives through data and analytics.

How you will make an impact:

  • Establish and execute our People Insights vision and strategy
  • Provide strategic support to the People Organization in people metrics, and advanced analytic capabilities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the People service areas (learning and development, recruiting, talent management, diversity, compliance, employee relations) to promote and improve overall analytics & insights
  • Clearly and effectively use storytelling to present, educate and communicate findings with our stakeholders while informing and driving our strategy
  • Work closely with technology teams and vendors to deliver reporting tools and system solutions
  • Design and implement dashboards that present data in a meaningful and actionable framework for leadership
  • Lead and support key strategic reporting initiatives including materials for our Board of Directors and Executive Leadership teams
  • Interpret employee data to identify significant differences, relationships, trends in data, and factors that could affect and impact our strategy
  • Develop predictive models for attrition, high performance, workforce planning and recruiting
  • Utilize statistical analysis techniques required to deliver insights
  • Advance the use of complex analytical techniques and statistical thinking across the People Organization
  • Develop and maintain people related benchmarks
  • Establish the strategy for technology and analytical tools to develop and analyze enterprise-wide people and other cross-functional data as needed
  • Provide guidance and training to teams in asking appropriate questions, interpreting data, and translating into action
  • Clearly tie People analytics to business objectives and outcomes
  • Drive strategy for future Business Intelligence solutions that includes project intake, visualization tools, quality assurance and adoption
  • Partner with colleagues and customers to achieve meaningful discussions regarding data outputs and feedback on usage activities to improve People data output

What we are looking for:

  • Experience with Workday reporting and data model is beneficial
  • Manage demand for analytics and establish necessary governance and communications strategy
  • Experience with Business Intelligence solutions and linking multiple data sources together
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute an analytics strategy
  • Deep technical hands-on expertise in data analytics and visualization
  • Experience in data modelling to support creation of advanced analytics, BI toolsets, and automated reporting
  • Strong analytical acumen, intellectual curiosity, creativity, a proven work ethic, and solid communication skills.
  • Ability to partner and influence our senior leadership on analytics we should be measuring as an organization
  • Excellent consultative skills, understanding business needs and translating those needs to requirements. Clear communication with business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to define and drive standards and governance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate strategy, proposals, results, and recommendations based on people analytics
