Insurance Broking Client Manager | Hobart or Launceston

We are seeking an insurance broker to join our National team, which specialises in the delivery of best-in-class insurance and risk management solutions for clients. We have an extensive presence across Australia, with representation in each State capital and an extensive regional branch network.  

The Client Manager is responsible for proving best in class service for a key portfolio of diverse business clients and will work closely with their team members to implement strategies which focus on growth and retention of their portfolio.

This role is considered a key driver to our long-term growth ambitions in this segment and will work closely with leadership to drive positive results in the region.

What the day will look like

  • Lead a diverse portfolio of business clients across various industries

  • Building relationships and enhancing the client experience

  • Identify development opportunities for designated portfolio and design appropriate servicing solutions

  • Develop new and profitable business within the National segment

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the National business

  • Achieve renewal and new business budget

  • Mentorship and development of team members within the region

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

    This position will suit a someone with the following experience:

  • Hold qualifications such as Insurance Broking Tier 1 preferred

  • Exceptional client relationship management capabilities

  • First-class communication and presentation skills

  • A keen entrepreneurial spirit, with demonstrated new business successes

  • Strong technical understanding of a broad range of Commercial Insurance products

  • Ability to build leverage existing networks and develop new networks

  • Organisational skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
