MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Ensure the APAC Organization builds and enhances Marketing led forecasts for future pipeline products (MAKE and BUY). Own business cases and manage Abbott Internal End 2 End portfolio management system. Incorporating both scientific and commercial mindset with insights, patients and customers becoming the core of everything we do and ultimately driving the future portfolio and pursue profitable business opportunities. Responsible for the commercial assessment of the Future portfolio for the APAC markets (within selected TAs). Build forecasting scenarios, align with regional teams and bring local team input.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages, coordinates and develops Future Portfolio forecasts, thereby ensuring Therapeutic Area objectives are fully aligned and met

• Support Portfolio optimization by commercial assessment of product enhancement and line extensions for assigned Therapeutic Areas.

• Lead and coordinate the commercial assessment of new commercial opportunities for the region

• Deliver best in class forecasts, considering all the latest medical/clinical data, local market dynamics and Abbott’s core strengths and strategic vision.

• Collaborates with region and affiliates, for engagement and alignment

• Anticipate, analyze and understand the market trends and changes. Influence the strategic options and pipeline/portfolio forecasts, according to the future market evolutions

• Responsible for training and coaching the affiliates and coordinating the forecasting (MAKE and BUY).

• Forecasting and support the project team to build the business case

• Project management – external deals and internal development forecasts and preparation of projects for Innovation Board approval

• Build and manage dashboard for in-market analysis

• Lead the Play book process with regular touch points with all countries

• Ensures all projects are input, tracked and assessed in LEAP/ATOM (Portfolio Expansion process software)

• Support APAC countries in creating and updating projects in LEAP

• Key contact for respective new product evaluations and forecasts

• Support Portfolio Expansion & Launch Excellence Manager to manage & track projects in E2E Abbott Portfolio database/systems (LEAP, ATOM, LEx)

Education:

Bachelor/Master Degree in marketing/business development

Experience background:

Pharmaceutical/OTC/Consumer marketing expertise

Data analytics

Customer insights

Forecasting

Project Management

Language Proficiency: English Expert
