Job Description

: Sustainability Trainer

Reporting

: Training Manager

Working location

: BV HCM Office

We are seeking aSustainability Trainerwith experience in the Greenhouse Gas and Sustainability standards to develop and implement comprehensive training programs focused on greenhouse gas accounting, verification, and carbon footprint management.

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

Carbon Management: Give generic training on related guidelines/standards (e.g., ISO 14064-1:2018, ISO 14067:2018, ISO 14068:2023) andgive methodology training for preparing the CFO/CFP report to meet their goals.

ESG Reporting: Give generic training on related frameworks/standards and give methodology training for preparing ESG reportthat is aligned with the selected standards/frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB, CSRD, etc.).

  • Develop and implement Public & Inhouse training programs

  • Developtraining outline, materials, presentations, and instructional guidesaligned with GHG standards and sustainability.

  • Conduct offline/ online/ hybrid training sessions

  • Assess organizational training needs related to GHG management

  • Support carbon management strategy development

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging climate change regulations and carbon accounting standards

  • Assist in internal and external carbon reporting processes

  • Execute all tasks assigned by Training Manager

  • Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile

  • With at least 4-5 years of professional experience in Carbon Management/ ESG reporting.

  • A Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, or equivalent.

  • Practical knowledge of carbon management, off-setting project, and sustainability reporting & disclosure.

  • Experience working with GHG inventory databases/ Life cycle assessment (LCA) software/ Sustainability standards/frameworks.

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Technical and professional skills

  • Advanced knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting principles

  • Proficiency in carbon footprint calculation tools and software

  • Understanding of emission factor databases

  • Expertise in organizational and product carbon footprint assessment

  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills

  • Familiarity with international carbon reporting frameworks (GHG Protocol, CDP)

  • Ability to conduct training in various environments

  • Comfortable with presentations and interactive training methods

  • Occasional travel for on-site training

  • Proficiency with digital training platforms and presentation technologies
