Assembly Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Build high-quality radiation detectors in a clean, controlled environment.

• Read work instructions and specifications to prepare crystals, housings, and seals for detector assembly.

• Handle moving mechanical equipment and small amounts of hazardous materials and airborne particles.

Work Environment:

• Control temperature and humidity room with a -55C dew point or below.

• Mandatory wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.

• Contact lenses are prohibited in all assembly areas.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Team Environment:

• Collaborate with the largest number of technicians across both locations in the assembly/dry room.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.

• Ability to work for extended periods in a low humidity environment.

Starting Pay:

• $16.25/hour, with the potential for higher pay based on relevant experience.
