We are hiring an Art Therapist - Field Visits to work within our St. Thomas Hospice Department.
Part-Time , Days
Choose 2 1/2 days to work Monday to Friday - you create your schedule for visits during the day hours
Travel Required to facilities and homes within territory area

Adventist St. Thomas Hospice provides special care for people who are terminally ill. This involves a team-oriented approach that addresses the medical, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Hospice also provides support to the patient’s family or caregiver.
What You Will Do
Develop and implement art therapy treatment plans.
Conduct patient assessments and establish art therapy treatment goals.
Evaluate each patient's progress and the effectiveness of art therapy interventions.
Coordinate therapeutic art activities for both large and small groups.
Observe patient response and encourage socialization.
Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic art activities in the community.
Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Registered or Board Certified Art Therapist required.
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Art Therapy Required.
Master's degree preferred.
Prior work experience with geriatric population
Prior work experience in hospice, palliative care, or elder care
