Adecco is hiring an Administrative Assistant located in Hinesburg. The winning candidate for Administrative Assistant role has the ability to interact successfully with all employees of the company and serve as a support resource for the entire organization. They will embrace the high ethics, standards and core values or our client reports to the Director of HR.

This is a full-time position with administrative responsibility for handling front desk office operations, event planning, coordinating office supplies and services, assist with general HR duties and representing our client in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee front desk operations, maintain clean and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

• Answer and direct phone calls from international and U.S. customers, business and media associates, and the public.

• Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages.

• Maintain company directories, phone lists, HR metrics, and bulletin boards

• Work with HR Department on various duties

• Conduct desk set-up and office orientation for new employees.

• Lead tour of facilities for guests and new hires.

• Serve as Company Travel Coordinator.

• Train employees on expense and reimbursement processes.

• Help maintain and update company SharePoint site.

• Serve as event planner for companywide activities

• Coordinate and process philanthropic requests

• Assist with updating work instructions and maintaining stock of needed documentation

• Order office supplies and maintains copy/mail room and equipment, including printer maintenance

• Prepare Power Point slides for monthly staff meetings.

• Co-leads the Employee engagement/event committee - tracks budget, creates committee staff meeting slides, and creates communications for committee events

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative capacity

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that embrace professionalism and respect for others

• Ability to work successfully in a team, to collaborate with staff across the company in a way that both maintains privacy and allows all team members to be effective

• Aptitude for being detail-oriented and accurate

• Outstanding communication skills

• Top-notch organizational skills

• High level of ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Time management skill – ability to use time efficiently and to prioritize work so that the most important things get done first

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
