    HIA Insurance Services (HIAIS) is a specialist insurance broker, providing insurance products and risk advice to the residential building industry. Formed in 1984, HIAIS is as a joint venture between two leaders in their respective industries, Aon and the Housing Industry Association (HIA).

    Client Executive (Insurance) | HIAIS

    We are seeking an Insurance Client Executive to join our highly experienced team, which specialises in the delivery of best in class risk management solutions for residential construction clients.

    Located in Hindmarsh, there is easy access to public transport and staff car parking available.

    The Client Executive will work on a defined portfolio of existing clients to support our senior Brokers, while also having the opportunity to manage your own smaller portfolio.

    This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to grow their insurance career in a collaborative and supportive team environment, we will provide full training!.

    What the day will look like

  • Provide administration support to our Senior Brokers on an existing book of clients

  • Manage a small portfolio of own clients

  • Respond to day to day queries from clients

  • Administration processing duties including renewals, endorsements, Certificates of Currencies

  • Assist our Senior Brokers with claims lodgements, insurer and client follow ups

  • Work directly with administration support teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks

  • Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams and insurer partners

    This opportunity would suit someone looking to enhance their existing knowledge and customer service expertise within insurance.

    In this role you will be provided with training to support your growth and develop your understanding of construction insurance.

    To be successful you will relate to the following:

  • Experience within an insurance support role

  • General insurance experience or insurance broking experience (highly regarded)

  • Clear communication and high attention to detail

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks

  • Tier 2 Qualification and willingness to complete a Tier 1 Qualification (Insurance Broking)

  • Basic insurance technical skills (highly regarded)
