DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for all store functions including team development, training, payroll management and execution of visual merchandising standards. The selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to be a strong, innovative and inspiring leader who is able to motivate others by providing effective, timely communication and regular development of the team through constant feedback and coaching.

Must be able to work at least 40 hours/week

Job Responsibilities: * Maintains awareness of all stores goals and results, developing action plans when necessary to improve store performance and maximize opportunities. * Communicates store and individual goals to all associates while motivating associates to contribute their best efforts. * Fosters a client-focused team environment by driving volume and anticipating client's needs. * Promotes a positive and energetic store atmosphere of teamwork while driving results through collaboration. * Acts as a role model for selling and delighting the customer with world class customer service. * Communicates clear expectations and productivity standards, and holds team accountable to achieve them. * Ensures an effective leader is scheduled and is in the role as sales floor leader on the floor at all times. * Ensures floor is constantly being replenished and re-merchandised as needed. * Ensures compliance to company policies and procedures, federal, state and local employment laws. * Creates schedules to maximize sales floor coverage. * Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned as needed
