Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Focused Ion Beam (FIB) Application Engineer to join our team in Hillsboro, OR. This is an opportunity to fill a critical role, and we need someone who can step in quickly to maintain our high standards. This is a permanent position with a hybrid work schedule, primarily at the customer site. There may be local travel (80%) with occasional international trips (5%), including potential training sessions in Japan lasting 1-2 weeks.

1. Operate as an expert at customer sites

Engage in recipe creation and modification, providing technical assistance tailored to customer requirements.

2. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients, maintaining a balance between both interactions.

3. Prepare presentations based on existing product materials and develop scripts for new applications as needed.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Focused Ion Beam (FIB).

• Proficiency in Failure Analysis using metrology and inspection systems.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or STEM related field. 1. Experience in the semiconductor industry.

2. Knowledge of Focused Ion Beam FIB/SEM applications in an industrial setting.

3. Basic understanding of Python programming and scripting and strong proficiency in computer applications. null
