About This Job

Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at our Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for a Cybersecurity Analyst. The selected candidate will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation. The position will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop cybersecurity documentation and conduct peer reviews

  • Provide cybersecurity reviews of access request forms

  • Work on system hardening verification

  • Provide cybersecurity support for the change management process

  • Learn and become proficient in Risk Management Framework (RMF)

This position requires an active final Secret clearance upon hire date. The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred.

The applicant must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level I or higher certification requirements on hire date.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Education and relevant work experience for this position are as follows:

  • High School Diploma and 7 years of related experience, or

  • BS degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline with 3 years of experience, or

  • MS degree in Computer Science or other related technical discipline with 2 years of experience

  • Specific training and education in cybersecurity

  • Understanding of cybersecurity methodologies, tools, and systems

  • Proven capacity to identify vulnerabilities and create impactful mitigation plans

  • Comfortable working independently to manage projects and tasks to completion

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Exceptional troubleshooter with experience resolving complex technical issues

  • Strong background in IT / cybersecurity

  • Experience providing world class customer service

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and issues to non-technical leaders and user

  • Active Top Secret security clearance preferred, but not required

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $63662 - $108225

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
