Stantec Senior Administrator in High Wycombe, United Kingdom

We are currently seeking an Administrator to join us in our High Wycombe office, located at Buckingham Court, London Road. We can offer you a welcoming environment to work in, a strong learning culture, and the opportunity to play an important role in our functional support teams that support a group of 1600+ talented engineers, planners and scientists nationwide.

Your role will be to ensure smooth day to day running of the office by providing a safe, welcoming office environment and providing a seamless, flexible administration support to the technical teams to assist them to effectively manage their projects. You will be the first point of contact for office and maintenance issues, taking responsibility for dealing with contractors to report faults and repairs. Daily responsibilities can vary from scheduling meetings and arranging all the necessary conference room facilities, managing the ordering of stationery, PPE and office supplies, arrange couriers and deal with deliveries. You may be required to arrange travel accommodation and car hire for colleagues at all levels. You will assist with the preparation/formatting of documents using the Microsoft Office suite and ensure filing and archiving systems are maintained.

A key part of your role will be to understand and adhere to essential Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) requirements and the preparation of the associated documentation. In addition, you will be at the forefront of our client experiences which includes responsibility for maintaining and enhancing our professional front of house service.

About You

You will have previous experience of working in a busy office environment and have strong skills in Microsoft Office. You will have strong communication and organisational skills. A high degree of self-management, initiative, reliability and flexibility to ensure that the best possible service is given to internal and external clients.
