Immediate Machine Operator Position

In search of an extrusion machine operator for a company that manufactures and supplies extruded foam polyethylene products and fiber optic components.

Description:

• Responsible for the efficient operation of assigned extruder(s)

• Responsible for the quality of the finished products for assigned extruder(s)

• Understands Operator Assistant tasks/responsibilities and directs these personnel as needed

• Can read and understand specifications and assure compliance of same

• Sets up extruders using SOPs/Work Instructions/Product Specifications with supervision

• Understands applicable production paperwork

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Pay rate will be based on Extrusion experience - will be open to seeing mechanical candidates who have been in the manufacturing environment. With prior machine operator experience, if not extrusion machines.

Shift / Work Environment:

-7:00AM-7:00PM (Thur-Sat)

-Non-climate controlled but does not reflect extreme temperatures

-Steel-toed shoes required
