Warehouse Lead / Parts Salesperson s primary responsibility is to be knowledgeable of and functionally proficient in all aspects of parts room day-to-day duties and assembling door components. These include, but are not limited to shipping, receiving, inspecting, and put away of inventory as well as picking and packing of orders and materials for the shop. It is vitally important that these tasks be completed in an accurate and timely manner. Accurately pick, package and ship parts orders to customers Receive supplier shipments by checking items for damage, verifying count against packing list and purchase order. Notify QA coordinator &/or engineer when orders or parts need to be inspected. Pull parts for jobs & parts need for the shop employees. Create packing lists and bills of lading for all shipments. Observe and inspect each shipment to verify that all items and the correct items are loaded. Assist customers with their parts requests; create quotes and write up orders. Assembly door components using basic hand tools per drawings and bill of materials. Build shipping crates using basic carpentry tools. Use forklift & overhead crane to build, pack & move crates & pallets. Assist Purchasing Manager in the overall management of the warehouse, by requisitioning parts & supplies as needed as well as performing cycle counts. Work to ensure a clean, safe, efficient, and professional workplace. Able to work in a warehouse setting, balancing multiple projects and changing priorities with confidence and accuracy. Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. A sense of urgency and devotion to the deadline Have an organized work style. Provide excellent customer service. Mechanically inclined and curiosity about how things work. Honesty and reliability in all business transactions Accuracy and proficiency in the receiving of purchase orders as well as picking, packing, and shipping of sales orders and shop materials. Accuracy and proficiency creating packing lists, bills of lading and shipping via UPS, FedEx & FedEx Freight Demonstrate dependable general performance and on-time attendance.
