JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Stahley Lab is seeking a doctoral level scientist for an open Postdoctoral Scholar position. The lab is located in Hershey, PA within the Department of Dermatology at the Penn State University College of Medicine. Using the skin as a model system, research in the Stahley Lab focuses on understanding the cell-cell interactions that establish collective cell polarity. The successful applicant will be expected to employ cell and molecular biology techniques to carry out experiments investigating cell adhesion and cell polarity through in vitro and in vivo approaches. Demonstrated experience in mammalian cell culture, basic cell/molecular biology techniques and fluorescence microscopy are strongly preferred. Experience with mouse handling, tissue dissections and mouse genetics are also desirable.
