Description We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team based in HERSHEY, Pennsylvania. This role is particularly suitable for individuals with strong experience in Cisco routing and switching, Citrix NetScaler, and IP Control DHCP. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity that entails ensuring smooth network operations and leading site transitions.

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in transitioning remote sites, coordinating with various groups and executing site migrations.

• Handle day-to-day operational tasks to support the larger team's focus on a large-scale segmentation project.

• Conduct physical migrations and configurations at different locations.

• Collaborate with the voice team and troubleshoot tickets as and when required.

• Demonstrate proficiency in configuring VRF and VLANs.

• Manage the lifecycle of equipment, including the replacement of switches.

• Utilize Cisco Technologies to maintain network efficiency and stability.

• Use Citrix NetScaler knowledge to manage and optimize network load.

• Handle IP Control DHCP to manage network IP configuration and distribution.

• Be prepared for occasional evening work to meet project requirements. Requirements

• Applicant must possess robust knowledge of Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies

• Experience with Switches is mandatory for this role

• Proficiency in Citrix and NetScaler is expected

• Familiarity with VLAN is essential

• The candidate must demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed

• Ability to work independently and in a team is crucial

• The candidate should be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred

• Relevant certifications will be considered as a plus.
