Job Location: Hershey, PA Willing to consider candidates remote for this role. * Summary:* The B2B Ecommerce Manager is responsible for rebuild and ongoing operations of the Hershey B2B ecommerce platform and retailer portals for various Hershey customer channels. The site is the direct ordering portal for direct buying customers such as candy distributors. The role will ensure that the site content, functionality and user experience is aligned with Hershey and industry best practices. They will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to optimize the site functionality and ensure that we continuously improve the platform to serve our direct customers. The role will also partner with the Hershey technical team to manage the implementation of a short and long-term technical roadmap to evolve the platform mission of driving channel shift and organic sales growth. Lastly, the role will partner with the customer service and sales teams to create a frictionless ordering experience from ordering through distribution. * Major Duties/Responsibilities: * Ecommerce Website management • Manages the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce site supporting systems to ensure customer expectations are met • Continually improves user experience and functionality of the site to optimize customer experience and drive conversion rates • Leads all documentation and implementation of technical improvements in partnership with the Hershey IT solutions team • Leads all new projects through the agile project management process • Partners closely with Hershey customer service team to create end to end value optimization for our direct customers • Informs class of trade specific user experience based on priorities within each customer segment • Partners with shopper marketing teams to create ongoing UX and content improvements to the sites to maximize adoption • Partners with shopper marketing and Hershey IT team to creates short- and long-term roadmaps within an agile framework * Ecommerce platform lifecycle management* • Serves as business lead for the full end to end redesign and rebuild of the ecommerce platform over multiple phases • Leads the evaluation and implementation of a multiyear roadmap to evolve the platform capability to drive channel shift and sales growth • Liaison with technical, sales and customer service to rollout new site functionality to ensure adoption and get feedback on optimizations • Leads change management process with all HSY teams as B2B ecommerce platform expands * Customer insights * • Facilitates ongoing understanding of customer needs of the platform and makes key recommendations and business cases for ongoing investment • Works closely with the field sales, sales planning, and customer service team as point person for all training and transition of customers from offline to online ordering Web Analytics and Sales Reporting • Partners with B2B Marketing Manager to set up performance tracking across all platforms • Works with business and IS analytics resources to define KPIs, reporting, and measure ongoing site performance • Makes key recommendations for site optimizations based on customer data • Works with data and IT teams to develop sales reporting and to tie web behavior to sales data to unlock insights and conversion optimization opportunities * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: * * Education:Bachelor’s degree * Experience:5-7+ years in a digital commerce role, ideally with experience in: - Direct commerce for b2b (strong D2C experience would be considered) - Strong ownership of P/L and optimizing it in order to deliver the business profit - Digital marketing, strategy, CX, content, design & experiences - Working experience in content management systems, PIMs, and web technology - Comfortable with understanding and manipulating order/sales data and developing actionable reporting - Understanding of quantitative and qualitative measurement frameworks and KPIs for a branded eCommerce web site - Strong project management, problem-solving, verbal/written communication, and multitasking skills - Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-functional team #LI-AM1 The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
