Thisposition is responsible for coordinating the daily operations, workflow, and scheduling for the employees of the Penn State Milton S Hershey Chemo/Infusion Pharmacy. The team is comprised of four (4) Pharmacists and four and a half (4.5) Pharmacy Technicians. The pharmacy serves multiple areas of the medical center campus, including the Nationally-ranked Children’s Hospital and the accredited Cancer Institute. This position is designed as an 80/20 ratio staffing to administrative time. We are looking for an individual with prior oncology and leadership experience/interest.

The Cancer Institute care teams have expertise in nearly all cancer types and offer hope and healing to nearly 2,000 individuals each year.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D required.
Pennsylvania registration in Pharmacy or eligibility required
3 years' job related experience in the specific service area of Pharmacy preferred.
Residency training/equivalent years of experience preferred.
Entry level leadership experience/training preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellentwritten and oral communication skills required.
Critical thinking, teaching, coaching and mentoring skills required.
Ability to relate to and collaborate professionally required.
Ability to triage issues as they arise to best value our patient’s time and individual needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
Experience with strategic planning is preferred.
