Schedule: On-Call Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Minimum Qualifications Required:
Education: High School Diploma required
Experience: Education experience preferred
Certification: None
Background: Clear FBI background check
Language: Strong verbal and writing skills in English; Spanish fluency preferred

Job Duties
Classroom Instruction
Collaborate with supervising teacher to provide instructional support to students.
Differentiate assistance based on individual needs, learning style, and abilities.
Support student behavior protocols in the classroom and during transitions.
Classroom and School Culture
Communicates a deep belief that all students can learn, and belong, in the classroom.
Consistently implements school-wide management policies.
Creates a positive learning environment by supporting classroom rules, systems, and procedures.
Holds high expectations for student behavior at all times.

Communication
Communicates with lead teacher to meet expectations.
Communicates regularly with school leadership and other faculty to maximize effective instructional activities.

Gives and receives positive and constructive feedback from colleagues.
Honors schedules and deadlines.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Classroom and video platforms such as: Zoom or Teams.
Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage the entire classroom.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience working in diverse communities and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives.
Demonstrated integrity and high standards in managing information in a confidential and professional manner.
