A successful account director will strengthen our existing ties with key customers and industry partners while building new lines of business to support the ever-evolving CISA mission across Cybersecurity, Emergency Communications, and Risk Management programs, and other operations designed to improve the resilience infrastructure our nation relies on every day.

HOW AN ACCOUNT DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Providing technical, administrative, and operational oversight to multiple programs and projects within GDIT’s CISA Portfolio.

  • Participating in and leading key elements of GDIT’s growth and strategic planning efforts relative to CISA and more broadly within DHS and the government cyber ecosystem.

  • Managing large cross-functional teams responsible for a wide range of technical and business operations disciplines

  • Driving exceptional program performance across their portfolio and integrating program management techniques from GDIT to best serve CISA.

  • Coordinating closely with GDIT Business Area, Sector, and Division growth leadership to achieve critical objectives and business outcomes.

  • Attending customer meetings and may serve as crucial link in client liaison-client engagement.

  • Managing Task Order(s) ensuring all tasks are complete meet schedule, and performance requirements

  • Developing and mentoring current and emerging leaders within our CISA portfolio and more broadly across the Homeland Security Sector.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field)

  • Required Experience:

  • 12+ years of related experience, with at minimum the last 3 recent years of experience working directly with CISA on complex programs managing the design, development, test or acquisition of complex programs with an average value of $50M or greater

  • Cybersecurity and Risk Management program experience

  • Homeland Security program experience

  • Security Clearance Level:

  • Must be clearable to TS/SCI, ideally with an active clearance.

  • US Citizenship (no dual citizenship)

  • Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strategic planning and long-term portfolio planning.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written; demonstrated ability to advocate for themselves, their program teams, and customers.

  • Ability to thrive in situations of complexity and ambiguity while functioning at a high level of productivity in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and win new business and recompetes.

  • Experience working in a startup or other fast-paced and highly dynamic workplace with multiple stakeholders.

The likely salary range for this position is $212,500 - $287,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
