Kemin Industries QC Lab Technician in Herentals, Belgium
Overview
As QC Lab Technician , you’ll play a central role in ensuring product excellence by assisting our QC group in a range of tasks, from sampling raw materials to conducting chemical analyses. Your responsibilities will also include operating equipment, completing Certificate s of Analysis, and managing sample reception through the LIMS -system . As QC Lab Technician , you’ll c ollaborat e closely with Operations, IPRA, and Customer Service .

Responsibilities
As a QC L ab Technician , the following tasks are part of your job responsibilities:
Take samples of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products
Analyse samples using prescribed procedures and equipment to ensure accuracy and quality specifications are met
Enter results into software and review with supervisor if necessary ( f.e. non-conforming product)
Approve raw materials, intermediate and finished products
Calibrate equipment and perform daily maintenance
Check certificate of analysis of raw materials
Ensure quality specifications are met for incoming raw materials and finished goods
All duties mentioned in the system procedures and the internal regulations of the quality system
Qualifications

Do you have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, or do you already have working experience in a laboratory?
Are you able to rework and reformulate non-conforming products into a new product?
