The Associate Aveeva PI Support Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the Aveeva PI system within an industrial or manufacturing environment. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting in the optimization of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to user inquiries, incidents, and service requests related to the Aveeva PI system.

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

  • Collaborate with end users to understand their needs and challenges.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system errors, data anomalies, and connectivity issues.

  • Analyze and investigate root causes of problems and implement corrective actions.

  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and configuration adjustments.

  • Ensure the system s stability, security, and performance are maintained.

  • Assist in data collection, aggregation, and reporting tasks.

  • Monitor data quality and integrity, and implement corrective measures when necessary.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.

  • Create user guides and knowledge base articles to facilitate self help for end users.

  • Participate in cross functional projects to enhance system capabilities.

  • Collaborate with other engineering and IT teams to integrate the Aveeva PI system with other applications and platforms.

  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and propose enhancements to meet business objectives.

  • Keep up to date with new features and best practices in Aveeva PI to improve system utilization.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.

  • Strong English Skills for Business (Written and Spoken)

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and data management skills.

  • Certification in Aveeva PI or relevant industrial software would be a plus.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
