Our current need is for a Mid-Level Automation Engineer to join our LATAM team. This role will allow you to work directly with our client, where you will get hands-on experience working with new projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities :
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for our web application, focusing on UI, functionality, and integration with microservices.
Design and implement automated testing frameworks for frontend components using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
Create end-to-end tests to validate user journeys across multiple services.
Conduct performance testing to ensure the web application is responsive and efficient.
Implement visual regression testing to maintain consistency in the user interface.
Test API integrations between the frontend and microservices backend.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of the web application.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers and UX designers to build testability into features from the ground up.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines that incorporate thorough testing at every stage.
Develop strategies for testing offline capabilities and sync mechanisms, if applicable.
Implement monitoring and error tracking for frontend issues in production.
Qualifications :
Extensive experience in QA engineering for web applications.
Strong expertise in frontend testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Insomnia) and a solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Knowledge of performance testing tools for web applications (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest).
Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging and performance profiling.
Understanding of responsive design principles and experience testing on various devices and screen sizes.
Experience with visual regression testing tools (e.g., Percy, Applitools).
Understanding of web application security testing principles.
Ideal Candidate :
Has a passion for web technologies and stays updated with the latest frontend testing practices.
Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail in UI/UX testing.
Can effectively communicate technical issues to both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
Shows initiative in improving testing processes and advocating for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Has experience with or an interest in usability testing and gathering user feedback.
