Hiring Mechanical Assemblers Paying 18$/hr

Must have prior hand and power tool experience! Working in past assembly positions is a major plus!

Job Description

• Will be stationed in either sub assembly or general assembly area based upon needs

• Responsible for adding brackets, fasteners, clips and other hardware on units to be built according to specifications

• Will be utilizing hand and power tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. as needed so must have prior experience doing so

• Will have to know how to read a tape measure to accurately measure units accordingly

• Upkeep with production goals to be hit on a daily basis as made in morning meetings

• Attention to detail and accuracy is important throughout the shift

• Will be standing for 8 hour shifts so must be comfortable with doing so

• Involved in painting and wrapping materials to prepare for shipment

• Candidates will be on contract generally for 9 months once candidates go permanent They have weekly pay just like Aerotek 401k match up to 5%, short- and long-term disability which is 100% employer paid and employee is reimbursed up to 70% of their wages.

• Life insurance equivalent to annual pay plus 10k (so starting off, 50k life insurance policy for an assembler as an example)

• Flex time off; 15 days pto starting out and a minimum of 3 weeks at 5 years Bonus plan structure (return on sales) 5%,10%,20% at the end of the year!! 20% is the max and in 2022 they are coming very close to hitting their max of return on sales

• Medical, dental, vision, multiple plans ( $16 per week for medical for the base plan for an individual, $50/week for employee plus spouse and 150 emply/ fam per week

• There are however multiple plans, and they can pick and choose from Anthem based on the deductible they wish to pay and planned coverage.

• The higher the cost per week, the more it equals out at years' end based on a lower deductible. Delta dental is only 2.22 per week, and Vision is only 1.50 per week, for the Family it's like $3.00 per week.

• Safety glasses program for prescriptions once perm if they turn in their prescription, they will get a voucher to buy safety prescription glasses through the company Boot voucher for Red Wing for the cost of a new pair of Steel toed boots per year

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
