We are excited to open a new opportunity for a Sr. Operations Program Manager seeking to gain experience in Program Management Operations.
The Sr. Operations Program Manager (OPM) coordinates and directs activities between Manufacturing, Engineering, and Test to develop and execute manufacturing sustainment work and critical new product introductions to the factory ensuring consistency with company commitments, strategy and goals.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with Project Management Office (PMO) Master Scheduler, Operations and Test teams to generate company monthly and quarterly manufacturing and test delivery targets in line with customer and company objectives.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports for customers and PMO
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives
Prepare production forecast reports for recurring and new product introduction with collaboration from sales team.
Prepare project charter and kick-off packages for new project orders.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and across internal cross-function departments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related experience
Project management skills with a knowledge of operations functions
Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
Experience working on sustained production as well as engineering development programs with foresight to transition to production.
The ability to present information to a variety of audiences including engineers, management, suppliers, and customers.
Working experience with Quality Management Systems
Ability to translate complex commercial and technical requirements for all involved in the project.
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
Fluent domain of the English language: ability to read, write and speak English well.
Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
Preferred qualifications
PMP Certification
Experience in manufacturing
Leadership without direct authority
Experience with development bill of materials
Engineering Degree
