Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.
Reports to: Director of Occupational Therapy

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum EducationBachelor’s degree Required
Required SkillsCertifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) Licenses: Speech Language Pathologist Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.
