Job Description
Hourly Pay a minimum of $22.00 to a maximum of $27.00

Position Purpose:
Responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions to include a minimum ofthreeof the following responsibilities: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Collections, and limited journal entries in the checking and processing of billing information, tracking and matching purchase orders and invoices, checking expense report entries according to prescribed procedures for accuracy, tracking and matching customer purchase orders and invoices, making collection inquiries as directed by immediate supervisor and creating or updated standard process documents. Billing process will be focused on assigned territory and additional backup to branch territories. Utilize standard and defined policies and procedures and systems to maintain and update various company/vendor information databases. May perform other duties of a clerical nature as assigned or directed.
Primary Duties/responsibilities:
On a daily basis prepare customer invoices from activity reports, manifests, price sheets, and unbilled queries.
On a daily basis interface with Operations team members to validate and resolve data issues to facilitate accurate billing documents.
On a daily basis enter customer invoices in customer portal to deliver finalized customer invoices as needed.
Assist in documenting Billing standard operating procedures as assigned.
Make collection inquiries to third party customers to determine status of payments and approximate collection date of receivables, as assigned.
Prepare customer or billing analyses according to prescribed procedures as assigned.
Prepare internal and external audit documentation as assigned.
Ad hoc reporting as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline preferred
Prior related work experience of 4 or more years required
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Strong team player
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
Manage high volume transaction processing
Basic working knowledge or Accounts Receivable processes
Strong customer orientation
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
Computer proficient including basic Excel formulas. Knowledge of basic pivot tables and intermediate formulas preferred.
Required Certification / Licenses / Training:
- Eligible to perform HHW event tasks with Veolia required training. Optional, not mandatory.
