EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit organization serving over 62,888 individuals through 100 vital programs across Long Island and NYC, is searching for a dedicated Bilingual Visit Specialist to join our Nassau Supervised Visitation Program.

Your Role:
As a Visit Specialist, you'll be instrumental in overseeing and facilitating supervised visitations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful family reunification efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Visits:Be present and monitor all scheduled visitation sessions to ensure a positive experience.
Office-Based Sessions:Conduct and manage in-office supervised visitations.
Documentation:Record observations and document visits accurately in case files.
Policy Compliance:Ensure adherence to program policies and procedures during visits.
Court Testimony:Provide testimony in court if required by subpoena.
Childcare Assistance:Support with childcare when necessary.
Maintain Cleanliness:Ensure visitation rooms are clean and welcoming.
Team Engagement:Attend staff meetings, conferences, and training sessions as scheduled.
Shift Coverage:Provide 24-48 hours notice if unable to work a scheduled shift and review progress notes before visits.
What We’re Looking For:
Education:High School diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
Experience:At least two years of relevant work experience preferred.
Crisis Management:Ability to handle volatile situations calmly and report issues to the Supervisor.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Bilingual Skills:English/Spanish bilingualism is highly preferred.
