Location: Hemlock, MI

 

*Purpose of the Position: *The Cell Leader will be responsible for leading a team of production operators ensuring the efficient operation of the process and meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.  There are (12) Cell Leader positions currently available that will be based in our new state of the art facility in Hemlock, MI.

 

Required Education, Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and equipment, preferably in cable assembly, wiring harness, or electrical assembly.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of production operators.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in manufacturing operations, with a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality excellence.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing production demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve production efficiency and quality.

Desired Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate instructions and expectations clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, and continuous improvement initiatives is beneficial.
