Role Purpose:
The calibration technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of equipment and instruments utilized in the manufacturing process. This role involves performing calibration procedures, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining detailed records to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute calibration procedures for various equipment and instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, scales, and analytical instruments.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or inaccuracies, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to rectify issues promptly.
- Make necessary adjustments to instruments and equipment to ensure they meet specified tolerances and performance criteria.
- Maintain accurate calibration records, documenting all calibration activities, adjustments made, and equipment condition in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Ensure that all calibration activities adhere to relevant regulatory standards such as ISO, FDA, and GMP, and contribute to the continuous improvement of calibration processes.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on calibration equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing personnel and other relevant stakeholders to communicate calibration schedules, equipment status, and any potential issues affecting production.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in calibration technology, and regulatory changes through continuous learning and training programs.
Hours of Work:
- Standard Hours (Monday -- Friday, 8am-5pm)
- Managing a 24/7 plant structure, so occasional support when needed.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
2+ years of proven experience in calibration procedures and techniques, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
<
