State of Montana Program Supervisor (08151) in Helena, Montana

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Office of Inspector General, Program Compliance Bureau. The TPL Supervisor is responsible for planning, designing, organizing, and evaluating TPL activities within the unit. The unit consists of Health Insurance Premium Payment, Lien, Estate, Medicare Buy-In, TORT and Claim Recovery. Responsibilities include supervising the discovery, verification, and recovery aspects of the TPL program; interpreting, monitoring, and ensuring the program's compliance with multiple complex federal and state rules; assisting in the preparation of legislation, administrative rules, and state plan changes for the TPL program; and working with the design, testing, approval, and implementation of changes to the computer system as it relates to the TPL program. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * * Ability to interpret Federal and State codes and policies pertaining to assessment of coordination of benefits, cost-avoidance, and expenditure recovery. * Flexibility to respond to and implement frequently changing policy and rules. * Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects. * Ability to apply problem solving, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and program policy analysis techniques to a broad range of complex financial issues and situations and develop action plans. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in health care, Business, Accounting, Public Administration, Human Services, Social Services, Finance, Legal or a related field o Four years of related experience, such as auditing and Medicaid experience. o Two years of supervisory experience. o Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. * * How to Apply To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
