About the Role:

The Operations Manager is key support partner to our Advisory & Transaction Services Line of Business Leaders in overseeing day-to-day management of the practice group. This position works collaboratively across multi-function teams through effective communication and attention to detail.

This job is part of the Operations Management job function. They are responsible for coordinating department functions and operations that support the organization’s goals and strategies including managing budgets, implementing business strategies, improving operational efficiency, and aligning cross-departmental efforts to achieve organizational goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage different small to medium-sized projects.

  • Track the Team’s goals and Success Measure KPI’s

  • Interpret data, plan work, and refine techniques during various projects. Assess unusual circumstances, varied techniques, and incomplete or conflicting data.

  • Collaborate with finance and leadership teams for department budget development and forecast management.

  • Address inquiries regarding team expenditures.

  • Serve as the primary contact for submitting / approving vendor invoices.

  • Field various in-market producer inquiries.

  • Manage and distribute New Hire Welcome and Onboarding packages with practice group information

  • Coordinate and manage internal and industry events in collaboration with the CBRE Event Team including event approval, budget development, vendor management and on-site execution.

  • Manage Leadership Team shared files.

  • Develop presentation decks and run practice group calls

  • Maintain org charts, specialty rosters, producer directory, and internal website databases

  • Assist with the development and training of lower-level employees.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

  • Other duties may be assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and time management.

  • Takes initiative and anticipates needs without requiring direction.

  • An advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the this position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $122,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
