State of Montana Engineering Intern in Helena, Montana
This position provides mechanical engineering services to the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) of the Department of Military Affairs. This position is responsible for assisting with all applicable design and construction projects as well as projects on their own. Assisting in all aspects of the projects: design reviews, all stages of construction: developing, initiating and managing all phases of the projects, analyzing problems preparing documents, etc. Verifies the project meets specs and safety standards requested in the contract. All work will be reviewed and signed off by the Professional Engineer. This position will be responsible for final walk-throughs, reviewing drawing details, verifying installation and appropriate equipment is available for the project. Confirms the completed project complies to standards, built to specs and for the intended purpose. This position will ensure the structure/ facility is ready for use and when the one-year warranty will take effect.
