Job Duties: The systems analyst position acts as a liaison between agency program staff who have business problems and technical staff who know how to develop automated solutions. This position serves the mission-critical function of understanding specific business needs, determining, and documenting accurate business requirements from agency programs and present those requirements in a manner that is understandable, agreeable, measurable, and flexible enough to meet both project and stakeholder needs. The systems analyst is an integral member of a project team who must possess essential people and technical skills to be successful. Minimum Qualifications: The knowledge, skills, and abilities of this position are normally attained through a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or 5 years of directly related qualifying experience such as business analysis, systems analysis, computer programmer or project management.
