To support our Emerging Markets Export department, we are currently looking for a full-time (associate) Intercompany Export Specialist. As Intercompany Export Specialist, you provide a professional level of support by applying a broad knowledge of Medtronic and Export processes, tools and policies focusing on Export and Intercompany stock transfer movements in our supply chain towards our Emerging Market Countries. In close co-operation with our internal parties and stakeholders, we strive to ensure excellent quality, swift delivery and ultimately our patients' safety and health!
The challenge is getting to know the distribution network, comply with the specific export/import country requirements, take care of our customers’ needs, build lasting relationships and strive to exceed their expectations.
A Day in the Life
The job entails close working relationships with local downstream Distribution Centers, regulatory, logistics operations, transport teams, trade compliance and our supply chain planning department.
You are the first point of contact for inquiries from Distribution Centers in Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe, India, Asia Pacific, China and Latin America related to their stock transfer orders from our Distribution Centers in Heerlen, Netherlands or Rolo, Italy.
You are responsible for smooth order and shipment processes and communication. This will be done by handling incoming e-mails and resolving issues in an efficient, compliant, and effective way to strive for the highest level of customer experience.
You create and monitor stock transfer orders, deliveries, shipments at different stages in the process and monitor our lead-times in ERP (i.e., SAP) systems.
You are responsible for aging orders and providing daily/ weekly information about the open orders, deliveries, and shipments to the distribution centers.
You are responsible for service complaint follow up with detailed root cause investigation and timely resolving the complaint.
You are responsible to perform root cause investigation for various issues, coordinate issues with other teams, have attention for detail in order to resolve issues.
You have recurrent conference calls with your stakeholders to discuss processes, overcome obstacles and make agreements. You apply continuous improvement method/thinking while working on process improvements. You analyze and assess data and deviations to enable smooth process flows.
Must Haves
HBO work and thinking level (NL) / Licencjat/Inzynier (PL)
2+ years’ experience in export related customer care/service, order management or logistics
Fluent in English language in speech and writing
Customer focus and can-do mindset
Computer literacy (MS-Office and ERP systems)
Able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment and to deal with stress
Pro-Active role in communicating with all parties involved in regional processes, and identify needs
Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Result orientation by using data, KPI’s/Metrics and making active use of tools and systems like MOS, CAP and Lean Sigma
Nice to Haves
Experience with Emerging Markets and/or Intercompany
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
