The Machine Operator will lead and direct the team to reach production requirements and enusre parts are meeting quality standards.Job ResponsibilitiesFollow the direction of the floor supervisors and plant managerDo not change or move around any part of the assigned workstation, as they are set-up, regardless of whether it is at a machine or in an assembly areaRead carefully and understand applicable quality control documents at assigned workstations for product you are responsible forSign in and check off on applicable quality control documents after performing necessary quality check tasksWhile handling product during various stages; packaging, sorting, clipping weighing, etc; reject any piece that is not of set quality standardsEnsure all products packaged at every stage is of utmost quality, with the final stage being of the utmost importancePromptly report to floor supervisor when the machine you are assigned to is downFrequently do grinder checks to ensure proper granulating functionMonitor employees in the assigned work team to ensure safety, quality and production standards are metTroubleshoot issues that may arise to keep line going and contact lead or supervisor if neededAssist in training team members on tasksComplete any necessary documentation and a clean organized work areaBe a positive role model to the team members and keep an engaged teamEnsure control plan is being followed and production line flow is operating at capacityFollow all safety rules, work instructions and work order processesPerform all duties in a safe manner.
