CVG Airport Authority Parking & Ground Transportation Analyst in Hebron, Kentucky

CLASS SUMMARY:Responsible for regular analyses of parking and ground transportation data sources to help inform decision-making, optimize revenue, and enhance customer experience. Duties include supporting and assisting in enforcing operating rules, regulations, provisions of contracts, ground transportation functions, and working with numerous systems to provide accurate, timely, and concise reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:This class specification represents only the core areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.Provides contract management support for contracts, agreements, licenses, and permits with parking contractors, commercial vehicle operators, rental cars, transportation network companies, and peer-to-peer.Performs comparative analyses of fiscal and operational performance data including current operations/transaction, revenue, activity volumes by parking product and commercial vehicle operator including transportation network companiesAnalyzes and interprets financial and statistical data and operating results and creates monthly Board and ad-hoc reports.Assists with revenue reconciliations pertaining to parking management contracts.Actively monitors market changes, pricing, products, and capacity of off-airport parking facilities to assess and refine CVG’s parking products and pricing based on occupancy and demand.Conducts analysis on ground transportation options and off-airport parking facilities to track revenue trends, forecasts, and market shares.Collaborates with CVG’s Online Booking Service (OBS) to collect parking data, provide reports, and dashboards.Administers and assists in making decisions as it relates to CVG’s parking loyalty program. Monitors revenue and passenger transactions from the program. Works closely with the parking operator regarding customer service issues.Conducts on-going audits of parking validations, VIP parking access, employee credentials to ensure compliance and minimize revenue loss.Assumes responsibilities and duties of the Parking and Ground Transportation Clerk, as delegated from time to time such as but not limited; issues permit, conducts vehicle inspections, and ensures receipt of payment due, in accordance with the Airport’s Commercial Passenger Vehicle Permitting processes; track and maintain office supply stock for the Commercial Management Departments; issues requisitions for the Commercial Management Departments, receives goods and services, and ensures all procurement policies are followed.Responds to internal and external inquiries and feedback regarding Parking and Ground Transportation related policies, procedures, and service levels via phone and/or email.Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:Associate’s degree in business, finance, public administration and three years of experience in data analysis, presentation of findings and provision of recommendations; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. KNOWLEDGE OF:Analysis and research techniques, methods, and procedures.Analytical and financial principles, practices, and procedures.Business intelligence software, preferably PowerBISKILL IN:Clearly and effectively communicating, both orally and in writing;Use of a variety of computer-based technologies including word processing, and spreadsheets;Accurately report and explain data sets to internal and external stakeholders.Establishing and maintaining effective, fair, cooperative, collaborative and respectful relationships with internal and external colleagues, peers, work teams and workgroups.ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Positions in this class typically require: fingering, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
