As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team as our new European Road Freight Coordinator . In this position you will play a crucial role in the transportation process of valuable artworks, managing logistics and ensuring the smooth execution of shipments. This position offers the opportunity for hands-on involvement in the art world, including occasional European travel for art fairs. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Your role in our mission

  • Coordinate the logistics of shipping rare and high-value artworks to and from national and international exhibitions.

  • Ensure the safe handling and transportation of artworks, adhering to strict security and preservation protocols.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Facilitate customs clearance and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide on-site support during exhibitions and art fairs

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the shipping process.

Valued skills and experience

  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of art handling techniques and familiarity with industry standards preferred.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for art fairs and exhibitions

  • Certified with a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

  • Proficient in English for business communication, both written and spoken, and preferably one additional European language.
