Job Title: Equipment Testing Technician Location: On-site in Hawthorne, NY Hours: Monday -Friday 7:30/8am-4:30/5:pm Pay Rate: $16-18/hour DOE Assignment Duration: 4-6 weeks
Job Summary: We are seeking an Equipment Testing Technician for a temporary assignment in a manufacturing/assembly environment. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, safety, and reliability of products in the post-production process. The Equipment Testing Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards by conducting thorough testing procedures, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Conduct Machine/Equipment Testing: Perform comprehensive testing on a variety of machines/equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Execute both routine and non-routine testing procedures to identify and resolve performance issues.
Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality control processes to guarantee the reliability and safety of machines/equipment. Document testing results, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
Qualifications/Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, engineering, or similar) preferred.
Skills: Mechanical aptitude, an understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Proficient in using testing instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers. Capable of recording measurements in clear and concise documentation.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, which may involve standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
