Amazon Product Manager - Tech, Ring Emerging Products in Hawthorne, California

Description

Ring is seeking a dynamic Product Manager who thrives in a rapidly evolving industry and is driven to develop emerging products that delight customers. As a business-savvy individual with a deep understanding of technology, you'll be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive product plans, defining tactical roadmaps, and articulating requirements with precision. You'll work closely with leadership and engineering teams, evangelizing your vision and ensuring alignment across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience

  • Experience delivering consumer products from ideation to productization.

  • Experience negotiating with internal and external partners to define and deliver new products and services to market.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science), or related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS, MTech, or MBA preferred.

  • Experience working with IoT devices.

  • Experience identifying business opportunities, building a product strategy, and influencing a multi-year roadmap.

  • Understanding of core technologies utilized in your product domain, as well as any technical alternatives.

  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership, project planning, and execution skills.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

  • Previous experience working with IoT technologies for hardware and software development.

  • Experience communicating with customers, business and technical teams, and senior leadership to define market fit for new products.

  • Able to collect requirements, describe software product features, understand technical designs, and define product strategy.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
