Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The role involves handling financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts. You will be operating within a team-based environment, utilizing enterprise-level financial record-keeping software, spreadsheets, and email applications.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize skills in Data Entry and Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial records.

• Complete a moderate volume of invoices within deadlines, exhibiting excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient operation of the finance department.

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in dealing with team members and clients.

• Utilize good problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues related to account payable.

• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent knowledge of basic accounting concepts in all tasks.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Must be familiar with accounts payable processes and procedures.

• Proficiency in data entry is required.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• High school diploma or equivalent degree is required.

• Previous experience in an accounts payable role is a plus, but not mandatory.
