The Marketing Intern will assist the Eagle Dining Marketing Department in its promotional efforts and provide creative ideas to achieve our goals. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Eagle Dining is seeking two interns for the upcoming school year. One intern will have a focus on Videography, and one will have a focus on Social Media and Events.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation of social media content for Eagle Dining?s Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

• Assist with the conception and implementation of Eagle Dining Events.

• Assist with the concept and creation of videography to promote dining services.

• Present dining information to guests, students, and parents during events such as University orientation and recruitment events.

• Assist in Eagle Dining at tabling events and activities to educate and promote meal plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Southern Miss Student.

• Marketing and/or Videography experience a plus.

• Canva or Creative Suites experience a plus.

• Outgoing, friendly, and able to engage with customers and potential customers.
