Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner is responsible for providing HR business partnership to managers and leaders at our Hastings facility with responsibility for employee relations, driving continuous improvement, talent management, employee engagement, and communications.

This role has been designated as On-Site at our Hastings, NE location.

Responsibilities:

  • Functions as an HR strategic business partner providing HR counsel to business management teams; responsible for support in execution of HR strategies and programs that support business and corporate goals.

  • Be a credible coach and confidante to these management teams, as well as a strong employee advocate.

  • Assist Sr. HR Business partner in the development and execution of HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, employee engagement and communications.

  • Drive and enable cultural transformation to support a Progressive, Diverse, and Inclusive environment.

  • Assist Sr HRBP with developing a sustainable strategic workforce plan for the organization.

  • Collaborates with other sector HR leaders to share best practices, critical needs issues, and sector initiatives.

  • Assists SR HRBP in building and supporting an employee engagement strategy that facilitates organizational performance and enables successful organizational change.

  • Partners with talent acquisition and hiring managers in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees; provides tools/resources to new employees on culture, company, and groups.

  • Provides coaching and guidance on matters related to talent, organizational change, human capital, employee relations, employee engagement etc.

  • Focuses on operational excellence through innovation, efficiency, process excellence, and accountability.

  • Creates positive change through coaching, counseling, and influencing skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience in the Human Resources Function

  • Must possess strong skills/experience in business partnering.

  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing change.

  • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with clients where integrity is unquestioned; can effectively utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills when needed.

  • Ability to analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives.

  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization required.

  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures business compliance.

  • Preferred SPHR/PHR certificate

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Base Compensation Range is $87,300 to $115,700
