Position Summary

We are looking for a Boutique Assistant Manager at our Hasselt Boutique. As an Assistant Boutique Manager, you will drive excellent results in all areas including team building, key performance indicators and boutique operations.

A day in the life of an Assistant Boutique Manager:

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Maximize guest frequency, sales and acquisition of new club members in the boutique (thanks to a creative visual merchandising, ect)

  • Innovate to give the best customer experience

  • Maintain current and up to date knowledge on coffee and the Nespresso product.

  • Continuously evaluate the quality of service and give individual feedback to the Boutique Specialists (about the mistery shopper and customer’s feedbacks)

Leadership/Team Management:

  • Support the implementation of company programs by motivating and instructing the team to meet operational and organizational objectives.

  • Motivate and coach team to provide exceptional customer service in keeping with our brand image.

  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities to team, in conjunction with Boutique Manager, to ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide coaching and direction to the team to achieve operational goals. Consistently review KPI’s to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvements. Support action plan creation to achieve goals.

Operations:

  • Schedule management

  • Daily money management, justify every difference and give feedbacks to the team

  • Manage responsibly the interim budget to strengthen the team during the peak times

  • Understand, plan and prioritize achieving annual sales forecasts aligned with Boutique Manager

  • Utilize tools and analyze financial reports to identify and address inventory and sales trends.

  • Use all operational tools to plan for and achieve excellence in staffing, scheduling, monthly reports, cash management and inventory management.

  • Run monthly and quarterly physical stock inventories, place orders and check deliveries to ensure adequate stock levels.

What will make you successful

  • 1-2+ Years of people Management in retail; the luxury retail space is an asset

  • Dutch and English speaking

  • Strong team-building skills with a history of effective team coaching and development

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and plan multiple priorities

  • Effective time management, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
