Job Summary:

Bechtel Corporation is seeking an experienced and dynamic Application Operations Lead to join our Shared Services team. The successful candidate will lead a team of support associates, ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our application systems. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of application support associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Develop and implement strategies for effective application support, aligning with organizational goals and ensuring continuous improvement.

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex application issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for application support processes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the support team.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using data to drive decision-making and improve support processes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong technical proficiency in application support, including experience with various software platforms and tools.

  • Demonstrated expertise in BMC Control-M, coupled with a strong understanding of One Identity (BecIMS) and Oracle Aconex tools

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong documentation skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Conditions:

This role may require occasional after-hours work to address critical issues and ensure system availability. Travel may be required based on project needs.
