Function Description:

Global Services Group (GSG) brings together the company’s external and internal servicing functions and includes best-in-class organizations providing exceptional care to our external customers, and servicing internal functions that make American Express run efficiently.

SABE: Sales and Business Enablement (SABE) is an internal servicing team providing sale performance reporting and business enablement support to the enterprise. The objective of the SABE GCS US Performance Reporting and Insights team is to ensure that Commercial businesses have timely and accurate reporting, insights, and forward-looking actions to help drive business performance.

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Build and implement vision & roadmap for Reporting portfolio.

  • Deliver accurate & timely performance reporting and insights. Define & implement metrics to measure quality and effective usage of delivery.

  • Understand data structure, systems, sales platforms for developing insightful analytics.

  • Leverage standard processes internally and bring outside-in perspective to deliver outstanding reporting and insights.

  • Drive innovative data & process management ideas, standardization, leverage new technologies and tools

  • Build a high performing team to support delivery. Identify and attract strong talent to the team, drive engagement.

Qualifications:

  • 8 years of hands-on proven experience in data analytics demonstrated ability along with team leadership.

Past Experience

  • Strong analytics & reporting proven record, Understanding of data and visualization concepts.

  • Experience in Sales performance management reporting and insights.

  • Effective communicator and strong story-telling skills, ability to communicate optimally to senior audiences.

  • Ability to lead and encourage team (size 4-8) of highly skilled and diverse analytics professionals.

  • Stakeholder management and project management in matrixed environment.

  • Strong analytical and technical experience Python, Hive, SQL, Cornerstone, Cloud – GCP / LUMI, Visualization Platforms: Tableau.
