The Global Treasury Controllership (GTC) is part the Global Controllership Organization and is responsible for providing comprehensive global debt, derivative and investment transaction middle office services supporting Treasury & Controllership.

Purpose of the Role:

GTC Trade Support is responsible for managing a critical part of Fx derivative lifecycle which includes validation, confirmation, and settlements (payments and receipts) with external banks, accounting interfaces, and daily regulatory reporting of Fx Derivatives portfolios under different regulations (Dodd Frank, EMIR etc.) Driving value for the enterprise in a strong controlled environment and transforming the way we operate have been our top priorities. The position will also be responsible for supporting fast track critical projects like Straight Through Processing (STP), dynamic Fx Regulatory Reporting space, build strong controls framework & support critical business initiatives like regulatory changes including refits (changes), new regulations/reporting needs, M&A, LE Restructuring, dividend payout etc and partner closely with teams like Treasury operations, LEM, regional GCO, LOBCO, TLM, AET, TMS vendor to provide FX related consultancy, adherence to reporting requirements and compliance to business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of 3-5 professionals, fostering a collaborative culture focused on growth, accountability, and operational excellence

  • Lead FX trade functions for APAC market – including validation of Fx Derivative contracts, confirmation with external banks, Fx trades payments, accounting, relationship with banks etc

  • Ensure compliance with daily Fx derivative reporting filed with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation for different jurisdictions (US, EMEA, and APAC) and all the applicable regulatory requirements/changes impacting Fx products

  • Support all internal SOX and external audit requirements including PRSA analysis, Third-party Lifecycle Management related compliances for DTCC, derivative policy and AXP guidelines

  • Lead with innovation by effective use of tools and technology bringing in efficiency

  • Partner and strategize with stakeholders (LEM, GTO, Market Controllership etc) on enterprise wide and treasury driven initiatives

  • Work closely and cross functionally with large and diverse set of business partners to deliver best-in-class treasury support, including maintaining effective and open communication

  • Pro-actively build and manage relationship with stakeholders within and outside of the Finance organization, with a focus on delivering effective and efficient support
