Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

• As a Field Service Technician, you will be dispatched to customer sites to install, service, and repair food processing machinery. Your job is to assure customer satisfaction with the maintenance and repairs that are performed and carried out on food production equipment.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems.

• Provide technical support to customers, which includes installation of new equipment, preventive maintenance, over-the-phone support, and on-site equipment repair.

• Repair or replace defective parts from inventory.

• Instruct customers on routine preventive maintenance of the equipment.

Hard Skills

• PLC troubleshooting

• Mechanically inclined

• Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting

• Customer service

• Ability to travel

Work Environment

50% travel minimum, mainly domestic and international opportunities. Up to 80% Travel by automobile.
