Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Virtual Nursing team at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. This is a unique opportunity for a Virtual Nurse to join our team as we implement a new patient care model that leverages technology to provide additional support to our staff while also improving patient experience.

This is an onsite position – you will work from a location within the Saint Francis Hospital campus in Hartford, CT.

Fully qualified external applicants will be eligible for a $7,000 sign-on bonus

Work Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week, Night shift. Weekend and holiday rotation.

You Will Be Responsible For :

  • Exceptional Patient Care: Including the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of patient plan of care from admission to discharge.

  • Compassion, Communication & Stewardship : Use your clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and the principles of case management and adult education to coordinate, implement and support a plan of care that meets the patient's needs and ensures a seamless, effective, and efficient transition of care.

Requirements :

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area. BSN graduate preferred.

  • Licensure : Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut.

  • Certification : BLS certification required.

  • Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of experience in health condition management, which must include adult condition management.

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience. EPIC preferred.
