Zurich is currently looking for experienced Premium Audit Field Auditors. Our Field Auditors work from home. Overnight travel is expected to be 10-15%.
As a Premium Audit Field Auditor, your role is critical to providing clarification and insight to premiums paid and due, which directly affect the underwriting results of a company. To perform examination of policyholder´s accounting and financial records to ensure accurate calculation of earned premium for risks of moderate complexity and that audited exposures are accurately calculated. In this role you will audit large accounts in all industries for both workers compensation, liability and business auto.
Client Externally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service to external clients and/or customers. Typically involves building relationships and promoting the company.
About Our Premium Audit Group:
Premium Audit provides services to Zurich North America Commercial insureds. Performing numerous physical and voluntary audits annually. Our Field Auditors are located near our customers, across 30 states.
Our Field Auditors have strong technical skills, provide great customer service, and have superior verbal and written communication skills. Zurich's accounts are large, interesting and complex, we are seeking candidates who are looking for a challenge.

The role will be filled at the Premium Audit Auditor II or Premium Audit Auditor III level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
As a Premium Audit Auditor III, in addition to the description above your role is critical to serve as the Lead Auditor and key Premium Audit contact for customers, brokers and business partners on managed accounts.
Participates in internal new business and renewal meetings and external stewardship meetings on key accounts providing Premium Audit expertise.
May assist in leading the day to day activities of the team on an interim basis.
Lead or participate in projects within Premium Audit or cross functional units.
Act as a resource or conduct audit training for business partners and brokers.
Basic Qualifications:
Premium Audit Auditor II:
Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years in the Casualty Premium Audit areaOR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Casualty Premium Audit areaOR
Zurich approved Apprenticeship Program including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Casualty Premium Audit areaAND
Experience with laptop computer auditing and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of NCCI Workers Compensation and ISO General Liability rules, manuals and industry practices
OR
Premium Audit Auditor III:
Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Casualty Premium Audit areaOR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Casualty Premium Audit areaOR
Zurich approved Apprenticeship Program including an Associate Degree Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Casualty Premium Audit areaAND
Knowledge of NCCI Workers Compensation and ISO General Liability rules, manuals and industry practices
Experience with laptop computer auditing and Microsoft Office
Multi-state premium audit experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Workers compensation, general liability, auto, inland marine and garage liability within a field auditing role
APA and/or CPCU
Large, multi-state premium audit experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Compensation provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. Other rewards may include short term incentive bonuses and merit increases.The starting salary range for thePremium Audit Auditor IIposition is: $71,000.00 - $97,700.00.and for thePremium Audit Auditor IIIposition is: $85,400.00 - $117,400.00.
